Dr. Mustafa Al Khayyat
Dental Specialist
Dr. Mustafa Al Khayyat, or better known as Dr. Khayyat, is a leading dentist in San Marcos. He is committed to his patients. He stays on the cutting edge of Dental Continuing Education in order to provide the best care possible in family and cosmetic dentistry.
Education and History
Dr. Khayyat grew up in Dubai, UAE. He then attended Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Khayyat finished his training in The Advanced Standing Program in Dentistry in New York Presbyterian Hospital In Manhattan. Dr. Khayyat practiced cosmetic Dentistry in Dubai before moving to New York City.

Dr. Khayyat donates his time to the Temecula Assistance League Smile Program, providing dental treatment to under-privileged children. Dr. Khayyt enjoys playing soccer and water sports in his free time.

Fatimah is a dentist, she moved from Belgium to CA with her family. She is in the process of getting her dental license in CA, meanwhile she is the office manager of Discovery Dental.
She enjoys Baking in her free time.
Lindsay DeFreece
RDH, BS
Lindsay attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where she received her BS in Dental Hygiene. She has just under 15 years of experience in general practice. She loves encouraging her patients with their oral health, all while creating a comfortable and pleasant environment for them.
She grew up in Escondido and is so grateful she has the opportunity to serve the surrounding community.
Outside of dentistry, Lindsay loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, their family’s and close friends. Other interest’s she enjoys in her free time are reading, movies, sports, travel and mountain biking.
Claudia Vasques Escalante

Hobbies & Interest: I enjoy arts and craft. I’m a creative, practical person that likes doing activities that consider hands on and getting creative. In addition one of my many passions is being a decorator. Which, for example I’ve worked a lot with decorating for social events as well as special occasions. I’m an out going person who likes giving back to my community. For instance I’ve done a lot of Community Service, Blood Drives, Pop-up events, Marthon events, Church events.
Area: Our patients are greeted by a warm friendly smile. A hygienist that makes conversations and has a great sense of humor. Our office is fun,energetic,and friendly staff,creating better and new experiences for everyone. Our surroundings are a very peaceful and quiet area with very respectful people.
School & Graduation: I started my career a few months after graduating high school. I started at UEI in the fall season. I went to UEI my professor was Mrs. Elfi Mikulijan. They taught us by experienced instructors, the program is a 10 month career. It was designed to develop students with technical skills as well as they offered individual professional development. Including hands-on training. for example, Chairside Assisting, CPR,Preventative Dentistry, Dental Specialties, Prosthodontics and Administrative Assistant,Dental Science and Medical Emergencies.
I graduated November of last year 2022. Although my college school needed me to do 120 hours in-order to graduate. My last course was in may of 2022. From there I went to an office were I was taught,worked with actual patients, was observed seen for my skills,passion and hard work. So for I can say I love my job and what I do because being surrounded by people and helping others is my passion.
Why I choose dentistry: I like working as a team, partnering and making new friendships as well as to overcoming challenging problems as a team. As well as helping individuals persons. I like being an assistant in general, in high school I loved helping out in the front office with details and organizing and my teachers in high school just helped me find my own path.
